Job Description:
Job Description
Works in the laboratory to fabricate prototypes for animal and
bench testing and performs testing and documentation duties with
direct supervision.
---Fabricate prototypes, pilot units, qualifications units, and
validation units
---Records test results on standard forms and writes test reports
describing procedures used
---Provides support for the development of new products
---Interfaces with assemblers to teach new procedures
---Conducts tests to verify product integrity in the design
phase
---Recognizes problems and takes corrective action
Qualifications
---Set-up, adjust and operate laboratory equipment and instruments
such as microscopes
---Comprehension of technical documents
---Basic math skills
---HS Diploma or equivalent. High school/trade school education, or
equivalent experience
---Up to 3 years assembly or hands-on technician work
---Prior experience in the medical device industry preferred
---General computer skills including Word and Excel desirable
