This person is a business partner to the Lab Operations leadership team, driving improved financial visibility and accountability, as well as increased profitability while maintaining world-class service and quality.Core Responsibilities:

• Partner with Lab Operations leadership to Implement daily, weekly or monthly reporting tool(s) to measure department performance against metrics.
• Develop department level budgets. Drive leadership accountability through monthly department reviews. Provide variance analysis on actual results; partner with Operations leadership to provide accurate monthly forecasts.
• Utilize Oracle functionality to drive improved metric visibility including (but not limited to) Supply consumption.
• Track and analyze trends, variances, concerns and opportunities regarding operations department cost center expenses and variances, headcount, and capital spending and provide proactive recommendations to optimize efficiency and productivity
• Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate, timely financial results. Develop understanding of accrual process and balances through quarterly Balance Sheet reviews with Accounting team.
• Lead annual strategic planning and annual operating plan process
• Travel requirement 10%Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university; Master's Degree (e.g. Finance, Business Administration, Accounting) preferred
  • 5+ years of combined related financial and supply chain experience required; Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and able to work effectively with all employee levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Advance Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Essbase (SmartView), and Hyperion strongly preferred.
