DFH Architects is an established design firm with a long history of successful projects in mixed-use, multifamily, commercial, office, and adaptive reuse. Our focus is on mixed-use/multifamily and adaptive reuse conversions from office to residential, with projects across Southern California including Los Angeles, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, and San Diego. We are looking for a team leader to manage projects and work closely with the partners from concept through construction. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a critical thinker, proactive, a strong team player, has excellent communication skills and work ethic, and will be part of our team for years to come.

DFH Architects has an immediate opening for a Job Captain to lead mixed-use/multifamily projects from concept through construction. The candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional architectural experience in multi-family residential projects.
  
• Professional degree in Architecture.
  
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit required.
  
• Knowledge of SketchUp and Enscape is a plus.
  
• Knowledge of current Density Bonus laws and programs in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and San Diego is a plus.
  
• Interest in opportunities for growth and advancement within the office.
  
• Outstanding graphic and presentation skills.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Passion for architecture, in-depth knowledge of working drawings and construction.
  
• Strong work ethic, team-oriented, self-motivated, proactive.
  
• U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident status required. No work visa sponsorship, please. No exceptions.
