Job Description:
A company is looking for a Virtual Safety Companion to remotely
observe and interact with patients.
Key Responsibilities
Continuously observe assigned patients through a one-way camera and
alert bedside staff when assistance is needed
Report unsafe situations and participate in the hand-off of patient
information at the beginning and end of shifts
Provide explanations of services to patients and maintain accurate
documentation in patient observation software
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 3 months of
hire
Preferred experience in patient care and previous hospital
environment
No specific educational requirements
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of patient care appropriate to
various age groups
Must be able to function in high-stress situations and respond
quickly to behavioral changes
