Our Commercial Business Technology team works closely with the Otsuka Commercial organizations to enable new and improved ways of connecting, interacting and supporting our customers and patients through digital channels and technologies. Director IT Business Partner / Channel Strategy, Patient Support, and Market Access Technology The Director, Channel Strategy, Patient Support, and Market Access Technology engages and partners with Commercial business leaders to understand business priorities and needs, and then translate them into technology solutions. The Director is responsible for the end-to-end process from engaging with business leaders to the implementation, operation, measurement, and continuous improvement of technology solutions and services. Core Responsibilities: Business Relationship Management: Establish trusted relationships with key stakeholders in Commercial business functions. Shape demand and requirements; challenge where appropriate. Strategy and Thought Leadership: Plan and drive technology solutions that deliver Commercial business outcomes. Maintain technology roadmaps that align with Commercial business strategies. Develop business cases for large technology initiatives; evaluate and qualify opportunities. Team Leadership: Oversee multiple delivery teams responsible for gathering detailed requirements, managing initiatives and developing the technology solutions. Develop the team. Establish and Lead Governance: Build and maintain the project portfolio for assigned area. Lead technology governance processes, working with cross functional stakeholders to gain alignment. Drive prioritization of the backlog; shape and manage demand. Coordinate closely with the IT Portfolio and Project Management Office. Financial Management and Oversight: Lead the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts and re-plans. Own and maintain the IT budget for assigned area, including investments and expenses for assigned projects, platforms and services. Subject Matter Expert and Innovation Leader: Serve as the SME for assigned area throughout the organization. Maintain awareness of industry trends. Identify opportunities for business process and technology improvements and value creation. Vendor Management: Lead vendor and partner evaluation, selection, and management for assigned area, working with the IT Vendor Management team for assigned services and projects. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be politically and technically savvy. This Director role is the face of IT to our business clients in these important areas. The candidate should have a track record of creating effective partnerships between business and IT. The director should have demonstrated experience developing IT Strategies and working with business partners to implement technology that helps in business transformation. The candidate must be a seasoned IT Professional with skills in leading cross-functional on-shore and off-shore teams, experience managing on-premise and web-based software products, and establishing governance frameworks to manage roadmaps. Experience in IT Product Development is a huge plus. Qualifications and Requirements Minimum 12 years' experience in enterprise IT management, 4 in a leadership role Minimum 7 years' experience working with required - Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Social Studio required Experience with the Veeva Suite Required - CRM, Promomats, Align Experience with Snowflake and AWS highly preferred Experience managing vendors for projects and service delivery is required Experience leading people is required Experience working in a highly regulated industry preferred - Pharma experience highly preferred Lean Sigma Certification and PMP preferred Bachelor's degree is required, Degree in computer science, marketing, business administration or related discipline is preferred. MBA preferred Must understand systems development lifecycle deployment methodologies including Agile. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) at advanced level. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain IT concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the technical teams. Up to 10% travel is required based upon business needs.
