Job Description:

Job Summary: The Payroll/ HR Clerk will play a critical role in serving as a key resource to the department and the company. Duties will vary in payroll functions, bi-weekly accurate processing of payroll for different entities and employee paperwork, maintaining employee files, administering company resources, assisting with new hire on-boarding and HRIS maintenance.Major Duties and Responsibilities: Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.Required Experience and Education:Associate Degree in Business Administration/Finance required, Accounting Degree preferredThree plus years in a Payroll Office performing all payroll functions; Three years additional payroll office experience in lieu of Associate degree.?Experience with iSovled or similar payroll systems is a plus.Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.? Strong supervisory and leadership skills.? Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.? Proficient with payroll software.? Bi-Lingual English/Spanish highly desirablePlease do not apply if you do not have payroll and/or HR experience
