Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Los Angeles, CA Agency: United Health Care Staffing Pay: $1,500 to $1,600 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: 13 Weeks Contract Shift: Night Shift (12-hour shifts, 3 days/week) Pay Rate: $1,500 – $1,600 per week Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) to join a healthcare facility in Los Angeles, CA. The Surgical Tech will play a critical role in the operating room by assisting surgeons and ensuring a sterile and efficient surgical environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and functioning properly Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures Perform surgical counts (sponges, needles, instruments) in accordance with protocol Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning and site preparation Handle specimens properly and ensure correct labeling Maintain compliance with infection control and safety standards Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia staff Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred Minimum 2 years of Surgical Tech experience BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room environment
