Operating Room. Call is required on weekdays and weekends for
8-hour shifts. Weekday call hours are from 11 PM to 7 AM. Weekend
call is rotating and covers either 6:30 AM to 3 PM, 2:30 PM to 11
PM, or 10:30 PM to 7 AM. On average, expect to be on call 3 to 4
times in a 4-week schedule. Common cases handled include trauma,
orthopedic, vascular, neurological, ENT, thoracic, and general
surgery. The cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be
canceled during the 13-week assignment. The charting system used is
Cerner. A BSN is not required. Trauma Level is applicable in this
setting. Care setting is acute. Shift notes indicate that 12-hour
mids are required. Weekend on-call is mandatory. 5 Benefits of
