Minimum of 1 year License: CA RN License Required Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry Management of
dysrhythmias Central line care and management PICC line management
IV initiation and maintenance Description: This position involves
caring for patients pre and post cardiac catheterization. You will
be responsible for monitoring and managing patients undergoing
various cardiac procedures. You will interpret telemetry results
and manage cardiac drips as per protocol. The role requires strong
skills in dysrhythmia management and rapid response protocol. You
will perform routine procedures including blood product
administration, sheath removal, and arterial line management.
Experience with pediatric and geriatric populations is essential as
the patient age group includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including
respiratory services and pharmacy. The environment is fast-paced,
requiring adaptability and excellent communication skills.
Isolation precautions and the use of personal protective equipment
are essential practices within the department. You will utilize
electronic documentation systems for patient care records.
Additional responsibilities may include patient and family
education regarding care and procedures. Requirements Required for
