Job Posting: Outpatient Geriatric Care Physician (Locums) Location: Lawndale, CA Contract Type: 1099, Part-Time (3 days/week) Compensation: Weekly pay, negotiable rates Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months with potential extension or permanent conversion Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified Physician (ABFM or ABIM) to provide outpatient geriatric care in Lawndale, CA. This is a locums opportunity with flexible scheduling and strong support staff. Ideal candidates will have experience in primary care, geriatrics, and advanced primary care for elderly patients with multiple chronic conditions. Key Details Schedule: 3 days per week (Preferred: Tuesday & Thursday one additional day) Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Flexible if preferred days are not available Patient Volume: patients per day EMR: Athena Support: Nursing and APP team Requirements Certifications: BC, DEA, BLS State License: California Experience: Minimum 1 year in primary care, geriatrics, or APC Knowledge: HEDIS and Value-Based Care (VBC) Specialty: ABFM or ABIM Responsibilities Provide comprehensive geriatric and advanced primary care Manage elderly patients with multiple chronic conditions Collaborate with nursing and APP support staff Ensure compliance with HEDIS and VBC standards
