Cath Lab Tech Location: Lancaster, CA Agency: SnapCare Pay: $1,510 per week Shift Information: Rotating Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Title: (RCIS) - Contract Position Location: Lancaster, CA Job Details: $19hr $750wk stipend (Stipend is Tax Free) 40 hours guaranteed AM Varies 13 week assignment Description of job: The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) plays a critical role in assisting physicians with invasive cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and electrophysiology studies. The RCIS is responsible for operating specialized equipment, monitoring patient vitals, and ensuring a sterile, safe procedural environment. Qualifications: Registered Cardiovascular Technician or 2 years in diagnostic/interventional invasive cardiovascular lab BLS, NIHSS Minimum: 2 years relevant experience, 1 year travel experience Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as requested by AVMC" Responsibilities: Prepare patients and procedure rooms for cardiac catheterizations and other invasive cardiovascular procedures Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures including coronary angiography, stent placements, and EP studies Operate and troubleshoot hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy, and other cath lab equipment Monitor patient status and vital signs, interpreting and documenting hemodynamic data Maintain a sterile field and ensure proper handling of instruments and supplies Accurately document procedures, medications, and patient responses in accordance with facility policy Comply with infection control and safety standards Participate in on-call rotation as required Collaborate with nurses, technologists, and cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care SnapCare Benefits (Exclude for Perm Jobs): End of Shift Payments Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability 36 hours Guaranteed Why work for SnapCare (Exclude for Perm Jobs) Get end-of-shift pay through our Paymint app. Enjoy comprehensive benefits that cover medical, dental, vision care and more.
