Our firm has a nationwide (locums and permanent) presence so please let me know if you are interested in a different location.The locum tenens Hospitalist opportunity in Colorado:-Duration: October 2019 start and on-going. Approximately 7-14 days per month, schedule is flexible, 7 on and 7 off is an option, shifts are 8a- 8a (24 hours)-Dates Needed: October 8, 2019 at 8a- October 11, 2019 at 8a and December 23, 2019 at 8a- December 27, 2019 at 8a (additional dates TBD moving forward)-Schedule: 8a- 8a, round in the morning and remain available on-call for the remainder of the 24-hour shift-Location: Northeastern Colorado, 70 miles outside Denver -Scope: Hospitalist is responsible for the med-surg unit consisting of 12 beds, a 6 bed ICU, and a 14 bed Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit. Average daily census on med surg is 5 and GBHU is 12. Average LOS for med surg is 3 days and 20 days for the GBHU. Medical management for the GBHU would be every third day, unless there is a new admission. -Hospital: Not-for-profit, 50-bed acute-care hospital, Level III Trauma Center-Requirements: Board certified or Board eligible within 6 years of completing residency. A background in Critical Care is strongly preferred, must be comfortable with vent management.
