I look forward to hearing from you!Please call for more information and feel free to respond with your CV (which is kept confidential until we receive your permission to be considered as a candidate).Position:LOCUM - OB/GYN Unit:Obstretrics/GynecologyFacility:MichiganUnit Specific Info:Hospital is in need of an OB/GYN locum to provide 24 hour call coverage for the hospital once a month for a 7-10 day stretch (date are flexible around provider's availability)Level 3 facility with a Level 1 nursery and they utilize Cerner PowerChart.The town has an old world charm with small local shops and restaurants. Outdoor enthusiast will love snowmobiling, skiing whether cross country or downhill in close prolixity, as well as spring and summer activities such as golf, canoeing, hiking, etc. Job Description:-They have had a provider leave because he and his wife wanted to be closer to their children/grandchildren and have yet to find a perm replacement.-Anesthesia is in house during the day; on call (not in-house) during the evening and weekend hours.-Overall the C/S rate is 12% (This rate is from a 4-month period with 153 total deliveries). Please note, this includes repeat c/s as they do not perform v-bac deliveries.-The mid wife shares in the call rotation with a physician on 2nd call. She would not be on call during locum coverage.
