This is a permanent position with a strong focus on Small Business Administration (SBA) loans and community development lending. As an SBA Lending Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing SBA loan portfolios, fostering community development, and contributing to our organization's overall growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SBA loans, community development lending, and a passion for supporting small businesses and community growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the Accounting Finance industry while working with a dedicated and passionate team. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of SBA lending, including loan origination, underwriting, closing, and servicing. Develop and implement strategies to grow the SBA loan portfolio and achieve lending goals. Cultivate and maintain relationships with small businesses and community organizations to promote SBA loans and community development lending. Ensure compliance with SBA's standard operating procedures and lending and servicing requirements. Collaborate with internal team members and external partners to streamline the loan process and improve the borrower experience. Analyze loan applications and financial data to assess borrower eligibility and creditworthiness. Monitor loan performance and manage risk to maintain a healthy and profitable loan portfolio. Provide training and guidance to team members on SBA lending policies and procedures. Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in SBA lending and community development lending. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in SBA lending or a related field. Proven experience in community development lending. Strong knowledge of SBA standard operating procedures and loan requirements. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and assess risk. Strong leadership and team management skills. Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to grow a loan portfolio. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
