Job Description:
A company is looking for an Accounting Director to oversee all
accounting, compliance, and financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the General Ledger and ensure timely financial closes in
compliance with GAAP and government standards
Prepare and review indirect rate structures and coordinate with CFO
and auditors for compliance and audits
Support financial planning and maintain budgetary discipline while
collaborating with various teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
(Master's and/or CPA preferred)
8+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting, with
at least 5 years in federal government contract accounting
Strong knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DFARS, CAS, and DCAA
requirements
Proficiency in financial software, with Unanet experience strongly
desired
Experience with government invoicing and payment systems
