Job Description:

Compensation: Base Salary Range: $190,500 - $275,900 Overview Build
and maintain an Optometric sales team and expand when needed to
meet our corporate objectives and fully exploit our
opportunitiesAttain Sales and Profitability Goals for United
StatesDevelop and manage sales budget for United States. Analyze
and control department expenditures to conform to budgetary
requirements.Recruit, hire, and train OD Sales team to hit regional
goals that are in line with company goals. Conduct field visits to
demonstrate Glaukos expectations and best practices.
Responsibilities Marketing Product Promotion and Marketing Focus.
In conjunction with marketing and agency of record, help (provide
input into) create materials including brochures, spec sheets,
videos, web and iPad content. Own the full execution of marketing
materials at the field level. Leadership Lead and execute all
marketing initiatives in the field. Provide ongoing OD commercial
leadership, design inputs and voice of customer to all cross
functional development teams to expedite PDP process, ensure
customer acceptance, commercial value and delivery of validated,
manufacturable products. Assist Assist in identifying marketing
material, programs, and events and to help drive the business
forward. Assist in Developing comprehensive national product launch
plans and materials for all for OD outflow pipeline products,
including positioning, branding, logo and messaging. Teamwork
Participate and engage in development and commercial execution of
all global outflow pipeline projects. Develop Develop and monitor
key performance metrics for targeted account participation and
penetration to support business/marketing initiatives. Execute
Execute marketing plans to achieve company goals and support
building key performance metrics to monitor performance.
Requirements Skills Ability to create reports, budgets, and
presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have
extraordinary communication skills and demonstrated ability to work
in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment. Proven record in
setting, monitoring and meeting objectives. Training Skilled in
educating and providing hands-on training to
physicians/investigators. Knowledge Knowledge of applicable
regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products.
Experience 20 years sales and marketing experience,
ophthalmic-related industry preferred. At least 4 years senior
management experience. Experience in hiring, onboarding, training
and leading/managing sales professionals. Marketing Marketing
background with successful track record of business planning and
brand positioning within the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical
industries. Degree Bachelor's degree in Science, Business or
Marketing required. Skills Ability to create reports, budgets, and
