Commercial Insurance Account Manager / Assistant Account ManagerAbout the Company:Acrisure - Brakke Schafnitz Insurance Broker -is one of the premier insurance firms offering professional insurance and risk management services. We currently have openings for a full time experienced Commercial Account Manager as well as a full time -Assistant Account Manager.The Assistant Account Manager will act as the main service provider for clients while supporting Account Manager and Producer. This individual is also responsible for retaining and growing their assigned book of business with assistance from support staff and management. Experience with a variety of industries is preferred.Join our team today and enjoy our great culture along with our hybrid schedule.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Respond to the day-to-day servicing needs of clients in accordance with standard procedures, including but not limited to the following tasks:

  • Maintain accurate and current detail information in the Applied TAM system
  • Review and prioritize work on a daily basis
  • Maintain electronic files in accordance with agency procedures
  • Prepare policy binder books as directed by the Account Manager
  • Order endorsement changes as directed by Account Manager, follow up on pending endorsements and deliver to client as directed
  • Order loss runs as requested
  • Follow up on premium payment issues
  • Order Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs)
  • Assist with applications and marketing as directed
  • Issue Daily Certificates as needed
  • Interface with clients via email and telephone to obtain and/or provide information
  • Assist Account Executive with special projects as needed
  • File documents in a timely manner, using the Applied TAM System
  • Meet agency guidelines for timely processing of the work
  • Have the ability to back up and help team, assisting with certificate projects and helping clear back-log

      • High school diploma required
      • Bachelor's degree preferred
      • Have at least 3-5 years of commercial insurance agency experience
      • Hold current and valid California Property and Casualty Insurance license
      • Possess a supportive and responsive manner with internal and external customers
      • Have ability to multi-task in complex working environment with a high level of accuracy and proficiency
      • Possess above average proficiency on Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook), become proficient in various needed programs, such as Applied TAM and various carrier online rating toolsTechnology Skills:
        • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Other Qualifications:
          • Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
          • Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior, and effort to achieve goals and objectives
          • Self-motivated and driven
