Job Description:

UST is looking for a creative content developer and storyteller to produce clear, compelling, and engaging marketing content at scale. This role will work with our team of global marketing leaders, writers, subject matter experts, and designers to curate and develop compelling and accurate content for our organization. We are looking for candidates who can think both creatively and analytically and are experienced in developing both long and short-form content and copy. Primary responsibilities include developing USTs content strategy and creating its deliverables by producing content, writing, editing, and proofreading, among other tasks. This role will support the marketing communication and campaigns team in building thought leadership for UST. The ideal candidate will have proven experience turning technical subject matter into engaging content, knowledge of B2B marketing organizations, and experience in enterprise software and services. The candidate should be well versed in both marketing and media content (not limited to writing press releases, authored articles, or point of view) Responsibilities include: Write, edit, and proofread content to support different marketing and thought-leadership efforts. Ensure professional writing etiquettes as well as consistency in terms of brand style and voice. This is a fully remote position and requires the ability to work across various time zones. Participate in the complete editorial process -- ideation, interviewing, writing, editing, fact-checking, proofreading. Works with multiple contacts at all levels of the organization to secure and distill information and develop messages, including CXOs and technologists Be an effective writer and communicator that enjoys working collaboratively and creating synergies across teams and offerings. Thrive in an environment where no two days will be the same Bring a creative mindset that is nimble enough to push the company forward while recognizing the importance of bringing key stakeholders along Brainstorm new content ideas based on interviews with subject matter experts (both internal and external), competitor campaigns, SEO research, and market trends. Communicate and collaborate with internal teams (including creative, branding, social media, email, and digital) and external contractors to produce and distribute content. Learn and adhere to UST brand guidelines on style, tone, and voice. Write original content focusing on thought leadership assets, including eBooks, whitepapers, articles, blog posts, infographics, explainer video scripts, landing pages, web copy, emails, digital ads, and other marketing materials. Find new ways to extend and repurpose existing assets to get more mileage out of our content investments Work closely with PR /External comms team daily. Writing press releases from scratch. Should be able to understand the brief from various stakeholders and converting into media-friendly press releases. Tailor corporate messages into press briefings. Writing authored articles and Op-eds on behalf of USTs spokespeople and subject matter experts. The role will also be a storyteller- identifying stories from large volumes of content and data and creating them into exciting into compelling narratives. Qualifications At least 6+ years of content marketing, inbound marketing, journalism, or related experience within a B2B marketing team. Experience in working with a large or well-known media organization as a journalist will be an advantage. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate many projects and stakeholders simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines. Proven writing and editing skills. Excellent storytelling skills. Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and results-oriented global environment. Superior written and editorial skills; can easily transform the complicated and diverse source material into concise, coherent, and engaging communications. Self-driven and proactive team player that upholds quality standards and industry writing best practices. Ability to follow brand guidelines, content direction and effectively collaborate with designers, marketing leadership, subject matter experts, and company owners as necessary. Thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment with the capacity to manage and support multiple projects simultaneously with many moving parts Impeccable attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and highly reliable Uncompromising attitude towards proper grammar and good writing styles. Strong collaboration skills with an ability to work harmoniously and appropriately with marketing, communications, business leadership, subject matter experts across business areas, operating groups, geographies. Experience in analyzing, developing, and communicating complex information, as well as creating compelling external messages. Proven ability to quickly and appropriately draft a wide range of clear, concise, and high-quality media materials including news/press releases, media Q, media pitch letters, byline articles, op-eds, etc. Previous experience in technical writing will be a huge advantage. Should have a good understanding of technology and emerging trends.
