Job Description:
Our global, industry leading technology client is seeking a
Senior Consolidations Accountant to join their accounting
department to oversee the consolidation of all global subsidiaries
by handling all intercompany and elimination entries. The Senior
Consolidations Accountant will be an integral part of the daily and
month-end close process. This position will be responsible for, but
not limited to, the following: Preparing and posting
month/quarter/year-end entries for the consolidation group in
addition to performing account reconciliations and related analysis
Reviewing and reconciling intercompany transactions and
discrepancies Reviewing trial balances for the various subsidiaries
Ensuring foreign currency transactions are properly accounted for
during the consolidation process in accordance with US GAAP Assist
in various ad-hoc projects and corporate initiatives when presented
The qualified Senior Consolidations Accountant will possess: A
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5 years of experience in
accounting – with strong exposure to global consolidations and
related intercompany/eliminating activities Experience with the
manufacturing industry preferably Exposure to financial statement
preparation and experience with the month-end close process
Excellent communication (both verbal and written), organizational,
problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong analytical
skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
within a fluid business operating state For further details,
