Job Description:
The Cash Management and Escrow Associate will be cross trained
for two functional areas both related to assessment collection:
Processing of cash receipts and Processing escrow demands and
changes of ownership as a result of escrow.The Cash Management and
Escrow Associate is responsible for the timely processing and
monitoring of all homeowner payments as well as assisting with
other general accounting activities. The employee effectively
interacts with all levels of employees, management, clients and
vendors. The Cash Management and Escrow Associate works with
various department representatives throughout the company to ensure
that all requests are completed to meet the needs of our
clients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this
position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

- Posts and deposit the combined billing process
- Compiles and prepares daily deposits
- Assist with research of deposit corrections
- Maintains telephone and personal contact with staff and vendors
on receivable matters as directed by management
- Assists the Billing Representatives with postings, as
needed
- Assists the Billing Representatives with Escrow paperwork
- Organizes and maintains retention files for required period of
time
- Runs a weekly cash receipts report
- Identifies accounts that paid in full
- Makes adjustment to homeowner accounts
- Applies cash as required
- Pick up PO Box mail
- Make deposits at the local bank branch
- Return calls and emails within 24 hoursRequirements, Knowledge,
Skills and Experience:
- Excellent customer service and relationship building
background/skills
- Demonstrate effective communication skills consisting of oral,
written and listening skills
- Collaborative decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and time management
abilities while working in a fast-paced, multitasking
environment
- Set and communicate deadlines and follow through on tasks for
clients and colleagues
- Must be able to work independently and in a team
environment
- Accounting Skills
- Property Management background a plus
- Detail oriented
- Must be analytical, proactive and reliable
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate Degree preferred
- 3+years experience with cash handlingLanguage Skills:The
candidate must have good written communication skills, and the
ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of
the organization, both verbally and in writing.Availability:Regular
business hours + overtime as neededThe work environment is a
