DITA Eyewear, an international luxury eyewear company with multiple brands, seeks to hire a Collections Specialist to join the team at DITAs corporate office in Aliso Viejo.This successful candidate will support DITAs team with all collections and accounts receivables responsibilities and will report directly to DITAs corporate controller.ABOUT THE JOBAs the Collections Specialist you will:Manage the A/R LedgerBe responsible for timely collections of accounts receivableDaily cash application of checks, credit cards & wire transfersAccurately answer account related questions posed by our customersAssist with sales order management and product releaseWork with management on credit checks and establishment of termsREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEThis successful candidate will havePolished phone presence as well as strong verbal & written skillStrong Microsoft Excel experienceTeam oriented, friendly personality & demeanorAbility to multitask in a flexible & fast paced environmentUnderstanding of debits & credits as related to A/RAbility to present status reports for A/R aging & open order managementBachelors Degree in business, finance or related field(s) preferred2-4 years collections experienceNetsuite experience a plusABOUT DITA:Dita is the fastest growing independent eyewear company and one of the largest independent eyewear companies in the world.Founded in 1996, the brand has a cult-like following and is a must-have accessory for many celebrities, professional athletes, and fashion bloggers.The company has experienced explosive growth in recent years and is now sold by over 5,000 retail partners worldwide which include some of the worlds most exclusive optical shops, fashion boutiques and department stores.We also currently have ten flagship stores in some of the most desirable shopping destinations and we currently have stores in over 70 countries.
